    Our educators are a diverse group—some hold teaching certifications, while others are gifted members of the Christian community keen on sharing their knowledge. Regardless of certification, all educators align with our Statement of Faith and undergo thorough background checks to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • How much time is needed for homeschooling?
    Homeschooling time can vary widely, from 30 minutes to 3 hours per day, depending on your family’s unique rhythm and the season of life you are in.
  • What are the costs associated with CHEC?
    We have an annual registration fee of $59, with a nominal $1 fee for each additional sibling. Classes are priced at $8 each, and there may be additional costs for books or materials as needed.
  • Is parental participation required?
    We encourage a collaborative community spirit and ask that families contribute two hours of volunteer time each month to enrich our collective experience.
  • Does CHEC offer financial aid?
    Yes, we accept the "Unique Abilities" portion of the Step Up for Students scholarship to assist families.
  • How many classes can students take?
    CHEC is intended to support your homeschooling efforts with hands-on, supplemental enrichment classes. The number of classes a student can take varies depending on individual homeschooling schedules and needs.
  • Can non-Marion County residents participate?
    Absolutely! We welcome families from all locations, keeping in mind that we are a Christ-centered program with specific membership bylaws and a Statement of Faith.
